RIP Pelé

Post by FfNJGTFO »

Apparently, he was suffering from Colon Cancer, and it caught up to him.

Rest In Peace, you provided a lot of entertainment to a lot of folks. Perhaps you even inspired many to play soccer in the US.

I remember watching him play in 1970 World Cup...on a 12" black and white TV with poor reception.
I didn't know anything about the game but everybody was very excited.
I learned about him from older kids next day at school. Since that time I've always associated Brazil with soccer (football) and soccer with Pele.
You may not be of my flesh and blood, but you are of my heart and soul.

Do not mistaken my kindness for weakness.
