He was airlifted. Listed in critical condition. I sure hope he makes it ok.

Yea, I heard about it. Wonder if the CBP had to put up the required insurance coverage.

The wounded officer later died. RIP. A Local 10 news update explained that during a demonstration the other training officer accidently shot him in the chest.

Last I read they are trying to determine if rounds/magazines were accidentally swapped, or whole guns were accidentally swapped. Prior to the incident.

If it involved a Simunition pistol, you can't load real ammunition in them. If it was supposed to be a Sim gun, I suspect he forgot he had his real weapon.
