I was wondering if a Dagger slide would work on a gen2 Glock 19. I would like the ability to use a red dot on same without having to spend a fortune.

The only real difference between a Gen 2 vs 3 slide is the extractor on a 3 has the LCI.

Dagger slides are indeed a helluva deal. RMR cut with suppressor height sights and a threaded barrel for sub $200 ?Yes, please . I just dropped a holosun on mine and it's my new daily carry. Was never a Glock fan, found them ugly as sin. The extreme carry cut lightened slides on the dagger look pretty spiffy IMO. I bought....a few of them 
It will. We had two gen two 19 frames that came in an estate we picked up. I put threaded dagger uppers on them.
