Sure, but the reason we invented the ax is because trying to take down a tree with just your hands is BS.
As for the gun. Absolutely some dipshit who buys a Taurus Judge and fires a box of 50 rounds ONE TIME and thinks he's good to go for all his personal defense needs is delusional. On the other end of the spectrum are guys like Jerry Miculek who could probably take the same Taurus Judge and whack out 6 guys rolling G19s complete with a speedloader reload before any of them even got a shot off.
But this is all obvious stuff.
