Yep, heard on another forum they've already sold out the 'limited' supply they had.

I can see this taking the 380 world by storm the way the P365 took the micro 9mm world.

I would like to see this new pistol laid up against a P365 and a Glock 42 for comparisons.

It was a great gun when it was the grendel. First saw it in a pawn shop in Davie Florida in 1996

In my view, the LCP II is as big as it's worth going for a .380. One makes some compromises for easy pocketability. The slight step up in size puts it too close to a micro 9. I wouldn't trade my pm9 for it. I have an lcp II, which is what I throw in my pocket for a quick run to Publix, less than a mile away. Anything more, and the PM9 comes with me, instead.

Just do some of the overlays on handgunhero. In a lot of trousers/jeans the longer grip can be a problem. Anything looser, wider pocket top, and you can take more gun. BTW, I'd take Dave's figures on weight over those on hh.
Hurrah for the Bonnie Blue Flag that bears a Single Star.

If you guys haven't seen the video yet, it's a good one. And the part starting at the 5 minute mark where he tries to limp wrist is hilarious

I normally only carry the LCP 2 around the house/neighborhood or if I am dressed up for something like a wedding and a larger pistol isn't feasible. I decided to simply pocket carry yesterday at the family BBQ rather than strapping on the normal P365. I forgot I was carrying which is the real charm of this type of pistol. Had my P365 in the car of course. But for just pure comfort, yet still having a pistol the LCP/2 is the way to go.

So that really has me more and more interested in the Max. Basically an almost identical sized pistol to the LCP 2 and in the 12-round configuration it's only 2 1/2 ounces more in weight for an additional 5 rounds. I'd also see how the 10-round configuration feels and it still provides an additional 3 rounds.

Seems like the going street price right now is sub-$400.

I also compared the LCP Max to a Glock G42 which my wife carries sometimes. The Max is lighter, more compact/discreet, and carries more rounds. Now if only they are to be found😀
