What are some of the most common powder/grain/bullet combos in 5.56 for general use in AR's?

Looking for an all around versatile loading to mimic some of the factory stuff out there.

Didn't you mean to say H335?
You can also use BL-C(2) and WIN 748 for 223/5.56

This, well edit to H335 this

WC844 is H335 just what the military labels that powder. They are identical and if you see WC844 you will save considerably and get the same thing
WC846 is Hogdon BL-C(2)

Best H335 loads for M193 55gr FMJBT run from 25-26gr for near factory velocities. 25gr will feel the same and the slight reduction in pressure will increase barrel life.
I say that because we can easily shoot 10,000 rounds a year (When ammo is not stupid as it is now) and 25gr will double the barrel life from 26gr

I haven't seen WC844 for sale since Widener's sold out his business. Wish I had a source for more, 5.56 powder for $90 an 8# jug was a great bargain. SR primers for $100 a case back then too. Damn, we had it made back then didn't we Wulfmann.

American Reloader had it until about 4-5 months ago but around $135 shipped including hazmat (16LB was $255)
They were running a special 10% off sale ended up something like 16LBs for $230.00 delivered but long gone

I used to get it from Hi-Tech and at one time they had it for $80.00 8LB jug buy 6 and get free ship/Hazmat that was 10 bucks a pound to your door. I still have dozens of empty jugs

I did get it from Widener's as well even back in the late 90's I bought it from him

Good thing Biden wants to ban online sales of reloading supplies. Think of all the lives that will be saved
