Need some action here in the AR forum. I realize that they are not very popular or affordable but I just thought I would work on my post count

hard to believe a while ago AR's were getting top dollar. Manufacturers were pumping out and the masses kept buying. Now there is a glut of AR's on the market.

$800. But it’s the Colt Expanse line, where they cobble together guns from the same parts other “assemblers” use. Not Colt parts. GARY.

Arms Unlimited has the standard LE 6920 for $850 as of 7/28/18.

On Arfcom EE someone is selling a new factory Green Expanse with a 14.5 inch pinned SOPMOD barrel for $750. Pretty indicative that Colt is using whatever parts they can find for Expanses, but the SOPMOD heavy barrel is really a great barrel and if I didn't already build a SOPMOD clone, I'd buy it in a minute. Kind of crazy that Colt is putting this barrel on a budget rifle ??

I don't even want to think what it cost me to build my M4 SOPMOD Block 1 clone....

Have you used it at night with that light? I had one a few years back that would change modes when I fired. Explains why I got it so cheap compared to a single output Scout...
