My Form 1 9mm PCC suppressor build

Post by Flashooter22 »

Newest project in the garage.. Decided to do another Form 1 suppressor. This one is specifically to run on my PCCs (Ar9mm and CZ Scorpion). I E-filed my Form 1 on July 23rd and it was approved today-14 days total. Build will be a SDTA 5.8 inch titanium tube, 1st baffle is a Dino Precision SS 60 degree cone, followed by 6 WTT aluminum radial cones and finished with a aluminum SPC pro spaced out .5 inches from the end for the distal chamber. End cap is an SDTA titanium cap which i bored out totally for more distal space. Attachment will be with a SDTA 3 lug mount. I am still waiting on the 3 lug mount to arrive. I will have to trim a little bit off all of the cup (now baffles since its approved) skirts to make everything fit. Cups will be getting bored out today on the lathe!

Very neat. I get my fingerprints taken next week and then I file mine, hopefully as speedy as yours.

I'm just doing a (probably too large) .22 though.

Sounds good! FYI if you didn’t know, you can order print cards for free from the atf, get an ink less pad off Amazon, and print yourself. I did my own.

I did not know that....

Had to make an appointment to get them done at the sheriffs station.

Hopefully goes as smoothly as yours. Mines looking;

Roughly 7” OAL, little over 6” internally
1.45” OD , 1.245” ID Aluminum tube/caps
(9) Stainless Steel “cups”
Spacer

Still playing around with the math. I may try to cut the spacer shorter (or use a spring but that seems ghetto) and try to sneak one more “cup” in there for (10) total. Hoping smaller blast chamber = less first round pop

Thats gonna be a thicc girl for .22lr! Once my 3lug module gets here I can figure out how much needs to come off the skirts to make everything fit. Just gone done on the lathe boring all the cups out. Will have access to a mill this weekend to do my side clipping!

Those look really nice and cleanly done. Very nice!

What type of clip are you thinking? Single? Double?

Filed today, mailing the prints tommorow.

Hoping I get lucky and get processing times like you did.

Maybe I’ll get off my butt and SBR my Krink if this is a trend.

Any updates? How's it sound?

Got my stamp approved today, 18 days total. Pretty excited to get started on it.
