Reason #12,756 why Main Stream Media, including print, has less than zero credibility.
The progtards couldn't coerce, browbeat & bully the Nobel Committee to give her an award like they did with their "chosen one," so guess this is the consolation price.

She clearly rose out of nothing and garnered a lot of attention. Getting eyes on you is the criteria and it seems like she met the requirements.

If Time Magazine had any integrity, morals, or courage at all, Person of the Year would’ve been the Hong Kong protesters who are out there risking their lives for freedom against a brutal totalitarian state. But instead they went with the most chickenshit, candy ass, suck up choice possible with Angry Global Warming Girl who skipped school to go yachting.
