Does anyone have the ability to provide the age of a S&W 686?

Do you have the original box, some have a Julian calendar date.
Post the serial number with x as the last two digits and I'll look it up in my #3 SCSW.

It is a 686 no dash. Serial # ACK94XX
Don't have the box unfortunately.
But it did come with a belt, holster and two speed loaders.
Rubber grips and the factory wood grips.
I'll post some pictures once I get home.

Did you find anything about the date?

The original stocks should be numbered to the gun if you are lucky
