Any Savage Rascal 22lr Replacement Stock?

Post by rug357 »

Are there any Savage Rascal 22lr replacement stocks that are larger than the kid size?
My son has one he's been shooting since he was 5 y/o but now the stock is too short for him to use comfortably. I'd like to replace the stock with something longer that will fit him better. It doesn't seem like Savage is selling any replacement stock but maybe there is an alternative aftermarket stock available?

Move him up to a 10/22. Or a cheaper old bolt action. Lots of them out there.

He already has plenty of other guns but he still likes shooting his Rascal.

Udaman! Good to hear! Would a new shoulder pad help lengthen it some maybe? Wish I could be more help but just do not know of anyone that makes a bigger stock. I would like to see more youngsters get into shooting.

There are pads that ad onto the stock and some that are designed like a boot, to slip over the stock. I think they come in different lengths & diameters...

Yes, Limb Saver pads which slip on the stock.
I checked but they didn't have any small enough to fit on the Rascal.
My son started shooting the CZ bolt rifle I have and he's been enjoying that recently. My daughter will need the Rascal soon so I rather not molest the stock.

I agree with you on mutilating the stock.
