I still cant believe that fwc allowed this to happen in public. Yes, you can shoot iguanas with a pellet gun anywhere, literally. I was fishing the canals in broward last year and saw a guy get out of his car and start randomly shooting iguanas. Mind you it was right on a busy street. I personally wouldn't do this. With my luck it will ricochet and hit a car or some shit.

I have a Gamo Whisper .177 that is a laser beam, no more iguanas on my yard.
They’re tough son of bitches, some needed more than two shots in order to part to iguana heaven.

look into PCP rifles. They aren't cheap but man they are fun you can get a good set up with compressor for about 1500 ish dollars. it's really the only way to go. Suppressed and all you hear is the action
