Insanity in New York

Well it looks like the folks in NY have gone completely out of their mind and are trying to ban body armor.... Well, unless you are a LEO of course.... I find it odd that knowing the SCOTUS has ruled several times that the police have no duty/obligation to protect ANYBODY and that every LEO's 1st priority is OFFICER SAFETY that there are ANY laws/codes/regulations on the books that would hinder a law abiding citizen from buying/owning/possessing/carrying the means of their own self defense, safety and security. This is just another attempt by the state to render We The People helpless and dependent upon incompetent, cowardly and PROTECTED LE, not only does LE enjoy the protection from the SCOTUS they also enjoy QUALIFIED IMMUNITY not to mention heightened legal protection that they use EXTENSIVELY to harass and cause undue hardships for a lot of the victims of LE... Look up the difference between battery and battery on a LEO and you will see what I am talking about, BTW batt on a LEO is one of the most overly used charges ever as they like to stack that on as it is difficult to disprove and causes a person to become a felon instantly. Anyway, here is that story from NY... If it can happen there it can happen anywhere.
