Accu-Wedge
Accu-Wedge
Just built up an Palmetto Arms lower for a upper I've had laying around and the fit is a bit loose. Was thinking about getting a Accu-wedge to tighten it up. Anyone have thoughts on Accu-wedges?
You guys suck... 2 months and no one has any thoughts on them.

They are unnecessary although if you want one, then go for it.
I've used them on extremely sloppily-fitting upper/lower combinations. As stated above, they're unnecessary for function and accuracy. However, they work better than a foam earplug, and they do minimize the annoying rattles between the upper and lower and between your ears.
....and some rin up hill and down dale, knapping the chucky stanes to pieces wi' hammers, like sae mony road-makers run daft - they say it is to see how the warld was made!

You should have bought a lower that has the tensioning screw built into it, Aero comes mind. As for the wedge, I have one in my cleaning kit and would rather it stay in the cleaning kit.
I saw a Utube where they used hot glue, and it worked way better than an accuwedge.
