May need to relocate to Miami area in our RV

Post by tcpip95 »

I may have to relocate to Miami for a year for work. We have a brand new 44' fifth wheel that I would use to stay in. I would be working with the cruise lines (contractor). I want to stay in a nice place but have no idea where to stay and where to avoid. Suggestions?

This is going to sound unhelpful, but my suggestion is to avoid living in Miami.

No, I get that. It probably doesn't need to be Miami proper; just anyplace that might be within a 60 minute commute of where the cruise ships are.

60 minutes from Port of Miami doesn't get you very far in commuter traffic.

You are looking at Dade and maybe south Broward. I wish I could be more helpful on RV options, but such a dense area is not ideal for that.

North Miami/Miami Gardens... at least you'll get some use out of your CCW there...
