Can't delete PMs

As title says, I can't delete my PMs.
I select messages to be deleted then hot "go" and I get this notification;
The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.
Tried it over and over and get the same note.....

OK, I just found out that it could be due to a PHP setting. I changed that setting. Do you still have the problem ?

no error code, just that sentence

yep still happening, now Ive got a full mailbox and it will not let me delete messages ??
