Florida was pretty much a blue state last presidential election. I wouldn't be surprised if it turns this year.

I thought FL was a red state in 2016. Trump (R) got the electoral votes from FL. DeSantis (R) was voted governor.
Rick Scott & Marco Rubio are both (R) Although sometimes it doesn't seem that way

That is a huge number of mostly Dem registered voters. However, what percentage of those people actually vote prior to age 35 or 40? Of those that originally registered Dem, how many vote conservative but have never changed their party affiliation? As an example, my grandmother is a registered Dem, but has voted Republican every election since at least Kennedy.

I understand what you’re getting at, but I don’t think much can be learned from party affiliation numbers.
To me, it's just a starting point. If, for example, a county/state has a base registration at a certain point (say 70% DEM and 30% GOP), i have a feeling (regardless of how the actual vote happens), that we have an uphill climb ahead of us. If it's the reverse (i.e. 70% GOP and 30% DEM) then maybe, just maybe, we might have a slight advantage. Yes, I know those other things can happen, but they aren't predictable. At least the "party affiliation numbers" give us a starting point.

Rick Scott and Ron Desantis were both elected in the 2018 mid terms.

Trump did win Florida in 2016, though. If the polls showing his increased support by Hispanics in the state hold up, he’ll win here again easily.

And Ron DeSantis didn't have the easiest time of it, either. Remember "Andrew Gillium???"

In a pattern which will become more familiar. The opponent was winning, by a reasonable amount (IIRC) up until about midnight. We went to bed. In the morning, a large enough group of votes appeared for "nikki" to overcome the other's margin.

I believe what happened in Palm beach county and Brevard county was what the problem was in 2018 and even what made it so close in 2016. They just got caught in 2018. Ole Nikki won because of Brevard and Palm Beach Counties. I think it was a shock because no one had ever come from that far behind and won before. But Nikki did because of those two counties. That's just an opinion, not fact.

If they'd not been caught/stopped we'd had a DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST EXTREMISTS govenor, senator everything.

I could be wrong but it's just an opinion. That supervisor of elections in Brevard county was not even trying to hide what she was doing. She locked out poll watchers and all kinds of stuff. Remember Scott had to get a judge involved to get her to stop and abide by election rules. I believe they were caught changing ballots or filling in blank spots that voters did not care to vote for anyone in.

But if she and her cohorts had not been stopped Florida would have been BLUE. I believe if I remember correctly. But I could be wrong

Get your counties right man. It wasn't Brevard County it was Broward County that pulled the shenanigans.
