Tampa gunsmith?

Post by Wasabi »

I need to install a Grayguns flat trigger on my P365. It doesn't look hard but would rather have a local gunsmith do it. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I saw some of the Youtubes to do this and it scared me straight..

Have you ever considered removing the trigger group out of the gun and mailing it to a sig gunsmith with the trigger.. I bet you could get that done via mail order and mailing the parts direct.

It's been a while since I used the services of a gunsmith in Tampa. My go-to when I lived up there was always Dow Arms Room in Dade City. However, I was in Shooter's World a couple weeks ago - they have a gunsmith shop towards the back near the range. Might want to check them out.

Thanks guys,

Yeah I'd rather have someone else do the install as I don't feel like chasing little springs all over the room and MFing the whole time. I'll check around more. I'd like to get the sights and trigger installed in one trip. For a decent+ gunsmith with the right tools, probably 20min of work. I had someone since I originally posted this and I watched him put the trigger in. Took him like 10min. That guy isn't around anymore. I have other things needed all the time and finding someone good and reasonable locally would be great. I'm not cheap but I'm not paying some hack $90+ an hour so quality over price is what I'm looking for.
