Skoll has told me the armor being reviewed here is not of a quality he recommends. I can’t speak to the quality of this particular product but I feel the video makes some good points regarding the benefit of trauma pads as well as a build up
Of the rubber coating to catch the shrapnel. I felt a little more educated after watching this video anyway.

It's very basic and budget minded. Like I said I have their LW plates because I couldn't afford ceramic at the time. I absolutely recommend getting ceramic plates if you can afford it. AR500 will do the job but not every company that makes/sells plates are equal. Spartan Armor for example I've heard bad things about. If you go up a few of my posts, I posted a Google docs of different armors, their prices, and ratings. AR500 is acceptable but the absolute bottom of acceptance I think. Towards the end of the year I plan on purchasing HighCom plates.

Personally, unless your job requires it (LEO, business/job) or you like to walk around certain neighborHOODs with a MAGA hat....I see no point.

We're in FL...I'm in flip flops, shorts and a t-shirt half the time. It's bad enough...tiresome...to conceal carry.

I couldn't imagine what LEOs go through armored up in our "gorgeous" weather.

Apply your argument to guns now and see how ridiculous what you just said is.

"Well since you don't need it daily, you shouldn't have it.".
