Why cant they find Brian Laundrie?

If I robbed a gas station and ran into the same swamp, there would be a FLIR equipped helicopter on top of me in 20 minutes.

Because he's not at the Carlton Reserve. He had a three-day head start before his parents even offered up the wild goose chase deception.

36 hour boat ride from Tampa to the Yucatan - no passport required. Got a fake DL? 🤔

Are you sure he's not hiding out under a bridge in Del Rio Texas?

Is that a commercial service out of Tampa?

No passport required for a closed-loop cruise to Mexico. Wouldn't be the first fugitive to jump ship in a Mexican port of call and boogie to the interior.

Looks like that business was dissolved in 2004? Unless there is a newer version of the same thing, it doesn't look like Brian is in ole' mexico. Also unless he has $ and speaks Spanish I don't see him lasting long down there?

My suspicion is he arranged to meet someone where he dropped off his car. Where they took him would only be guesswork. But, it takes money to pull it off. The initial trip is only a small part of it. No question, his parents know a lot more and have more involvement than they're saying (obviously).
Hurrah for the Bonnie Blue Flag that bears a Single Star.

Any cruise ship leaving Tampa for a closed-loop trip to Mexico offers a similar opportunity for passport-free travel. No passport is required to disembark at a port of call - it's up to the "corruption-free" Mexican forces to require a passport to travel inland.

Everything about his life suggests that his parents pay his bills. You'd be surprised how fast someone with free time and Rosetta Stone can become fluent enough to get by.

Exactly.

Hell - meet a friend at Carlton on Tuesday and tag-team cross-country drive to the Mexico border. Keep heading south to Belize/Guatemala while waving to the French-Creole speaking Haitians headed north. He wasn't on a BOLO list until at least Friday. How long could it take to get every pissant Mexican border crossing station to provide complete detailed records of everyone who entered Mexico over a 24-48-72 hour period? 🤔
