Can I take my silencer on a trip to NC?

Post by armedpolak »

I am a FL resident. Going on vacation to NC where silencers are legal but I think also require local sherif sign off right? Can I take mine there on the trip or had the sign off I’m NC also been eliminated?

You're GTG although I would take a physical paper copy of your stamp to shield yourself from any ill-informed LEO. There is no longer any type of "sign-off" required.
Believe nothing the MSM tells you.

Why do you want to take it on the trip?
I don't see the upside to taking it on the trip and can potentially cause some headaches.

silencers and AOW , you do not have to ask for permission to travel across state lines, SBR and SBS you must fill out a permission slip in advance and have it in your posession
