Cody Wilson, the man behind the Austin-based 3D printed gun company, has been charged with sexual assault, according to an arrest affidavit filed in Travis County.
The affidavit says Wilson met the victim, who is under the age of 17, via SugarDaddyMeet.com. The victim told police she exchanged messages with a user who's screen name was "Sanjuro." They exchanged phone numbers and continued their conversation. "Sanjuro" eventually identified himself as Cody Wilson and the victim said he described himself as a "big deal."
The victim told police they met on Aug. 15 at a coffee shop on South Congress Ave. From there, Wilson and the victim left together in a black Ford Edge car, according the affidavit. Police say Defense Distributed, Wilson's company, had registered a 2015 Black Ford Edge.
From the coffee shop, Wilson and the victim reportedly went to a hotel in north Austin in the Domain area. Police reviewed hotel video surveillance from that day showing Wilson and the victim exiting the elevator at the hotel on the seventh floor. Police say records also show Wilson was a registered guest that day.
The victim told police they had sex and afterward Wilson paid her $500.
Wilson is not currently in custody.

This ( doesn't state anywhere that Cody knew she was underage. It also states he was (publicly?) identifiable on the website by his picture.

Having consensual sex with someone under 17 is a 2nd degree felony in Texas and is automatically considered sexual assault no matter what. That is what he is charged with.
I think being a "sugar daddy" on these sites is a way to get around the prostitution laws. I don't think an amount is agreed upon before the act happens, but you're supposed to leave a "tip".
