Surprise neighbor/friends visits?

Been here in Bradentucky for 21 years and I have no local "friends or family" that are mobile so no fear of unexpected guests.
My good friends and or family know I will not answer the phone or return a call unless its a Friday or Saturday.
Weekdays/workdays I'm not communicating with anyone outside of co-workers other than my wife and dog.
Unless it's an emergency, if it's an emergency I'm available, or if someone has a question about something I'm trying to sell on the BST.. :lol:
The only other exception would be my son, I'll talk to him whenever.
Hows that for an old curmudgeon?

I disconnected the doorbell for Halloween.......never hooked it up again...that was three years ago.

I'm not antisocial, and if the hot single-mom across the street wants to stop by and "borrow a cup of sugar" ;) , I'm OK with that.

My rant is about people I know showing up and expecting me to jibber-jabber while I'm standing at the door in a towel. :evil:

While you are doing laundry naked, doing "other activities" naked or just chilling after a long day. I can understand.
