just upgraded to a high end 4K tv (Sony XBR-X950H) and my
8 year old cable isn't cutting it. i see 4K cables advertised
from $7 to $99 and don't want to get suckered.
any video or home theater experts care to chime in ?

Yep I got a 6 inch from my PS4 to my receiver and a 6ft from receiver to Samsung TV

Lookup Mediabridge HDMI Cable on Amazon they are good cables used them myself.

i'm also looking for a new 4K/Blu-Ray player and considered
the PS4 Pro until i found out it will play 4K games but not 4K
movies on disc. guess i've decided to go with the Sony UBP-X700
