I didn't care for Red Wings I have big feet and flat-footed to they killed my feet all the time I used Thorogood boots.
Everybody's got a plan until they get hit.

Thorogood boots are my second choice. Great boots.

They have been the best, most comfortable and lightest. I weight about 220 with gear on and my feet are flat as shit lol. I can get almost a year out of them. They are about 120 bucks
I also like Bates.
Lightweight, comfortable and breathe good.

Red Wing is overrated IMO.

Irish setters, red wings.. all good options..

I wear my Thoroughood 8" steel moc toe 12 to 15 hours a day. They treat me good. Resole every few years. the upper leather i treat with mink oil every 6 to 8 months, and the leather lasts

Ive been riding the same pair of Redwings for 10yrs. Have had two resoles since new. Well worth the money.
When the the leather gives out on these, I'll be getting a new pair
