Things to do in New Orleans

What should be on our “must do list” if we were planning a visit? WWII museum is on our list. Anybody have a favorite restaurant or tour?

We always hit Cafe du Monde for beignets. We really enjoyed the cruise up river to the Audubon Zoo. There are to many fantastic restaurants in NO and I haven't been there in a few years so you might check the more recent ratings.

Carry x2 WATCH THE PIC POCKETS AND DON"T FALL FOR THE SHOE SCAM. Ghost tour is a must. The Pub tour one is the best. Food is good all over.
Have dollar bills to buy a water beer or soda so you can use the rest rooms while walking around.

Walk through St. Louis cemetery #1. Some crazy voodoo chit in there.

Po-Boy at Johnny’s. Clam shrimp combo!

Dueling piano bar..forgot the name..

Vodka slushees with toppers on Bourbon Street

Jackson Square

Take a long streetcar ride. Out past Tulane was cool.

Canal Street ferry

If you like New Orleans cocktails.

Got to The Hotel Monteleon and sit at the Carousel Bar for a drink

Next stop - the original Sazarac Bar for a Sazarac.

Breakfast at Brennan's. Make it a late breakfast and you won't be hungry until dark.
