Whatever else, this asshole was unnecessarily spraying 7.62×39 into a metropolitan area. Really, fuck him.

I think what gets people in trouble in 99% of those situations is that they should have never even thought about pulling out a gun in the first place. I don't think anyone's going to get convicted by a jury if they fire a warning shot during a genuine robbery, for instance.

Upon further information, I still say classic SYG and he'll walk.
More than enough evidence to instill boatloads of reasonable doubt...

He'll walk but I'll cost him.

Definitely not SYG. When the perp left the store, So did the threat. He could have locked the door, send employees to the back, and waited for the cops to get there. Instead he pursued the perp outside, shot into an occupied vehicle, and sprayed shots everywhere. That's not SYG!!!!
I'm surprised he isn't getting charged with several other counts for his actions.

The perp ran to his car and started doing donuts in the parking lot.

Who's to say he wouldn't have rammed his car through the now "locked" doors and killed someine?
LEOs will shoot at a perp trying to run them over...a car is a weapon.
Same applies in this case.

Remember too, whenever you see a vehicle smash and grab on the news...
It's usually someone from the victim's hood.

Perhaps not classic "SYG" but there is enough evidence for reasonable doubt.
That's what counts and it's gonna cost him.

Spraying bullets from the hip. The guy is an idiot that makes rational gun owners look bad. It looks like the guy just wanted to fire his AK. Somewhat haphazardly at best.

I think they changed the law after that lady shot the ground to warn her husband to say warning shots are okay, so long as you are justified in shooting.

This does not help the perception of gun owners. What a dumb shite.

I thought Florida passed a law that you could fire a warning shot. Either way by definition this is not syg.

Guy did not ram store and after guy left he was just doing donuts in rd.

Store owner was not at that point being threatened. Store owner just plain and simply got mad and at that point became the aggressor by leaving locked store and shooting a guy for doing donuts.

Does not meet syg requirements.

Should have stayed in locked store. Throwing out an idea that guy might have or maybe could have rammed store with car. Don't cut it.

Because he didn't. It's called using common sense if you are going to shoot someone. Is my life in danger at the moment I pull the trigger.

Which apparently store owner though he was still in the middle east

But if store owner does get off. It will be because he is as the victim stated not me and I quote, a rag head.

We all know how LIBERALS feel about them over AMERICANS.

Not a racist remark, just a proven fact. DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST EXTREMISTS even judges seem to not follow the LAWS of AMERICA when it commons to ILLEGAL ALIENS and if he is a MUSLIM them also.

They consider them to be victims more so than AMERICANS. So the store owner could get away with the shooting. Just depends on the political beliefs and affiliation of the JUDGE.

Yeah and the driver was an ass, but he was most certainly not a threat to the point to ATTEMPT to kill him. But I'm still more interested in the accusations that store employees beat his friend to the point of having brain damage.
