They don't actually care about winning. It's just a grift like so much of Conservatism Inc. If they were anything more they would've gone against Trump turning NRA members and his own supporters who owned bump stocks into felons with the stroke of a pen, as well as redefining what a machine gun is by fiat.
The GOP had the House, Senate, and Presidency for two years and we didn't get a single damn thing in our favor.
