I worked overnight shifts for years. My boss ALWAYS beat us out of an hour's pay doing the time change.

I hate it for keeping my a/c running hard for an extra hour,, but I do have to say now that I'm working evening shifts I kind of like it being light later, not to mention as a ham radio operator I've always liked the higher bands being open an hour later.

Add me to the list. When I lived in Arizona for a couple of years I liked not having CST/CDT changes. Effectively being on Atlantic time in the winter would be amusing.

We’d be the only state in the country on Atlantic time. GARY.

What difference at this time does it make?
I do not care which timezone is chosen just stay in that zone year round. Though I'd prefer EST

Congress is not going to authorize 5 continental time zones. Now if everybody did it, fine--then it stays at 4. But it is not going to allow Florida to go off on its own. We have hashed this out over and over. The issues don't change.

Well holy $hit - the super Libiturds in the EU just voted to eliminate DST changes!

But our dysfunctional a$$wipe Kongress can't do $hit - well except vote themselves raises, take long vacations, get themselves good health care and investigate the Donald.

Arizona is off an hour in the summer, Florida would be off an hour, for fewer months than AZ is off, in the winter. I'm not seeing the substantive difference.

Do you know the difference between 4 and 5?

Arizona is aligned with pre-existing continental time zones all year round. Florida going alone would not be.

Really tired of explaining the obvious about this over and over....
