What has he actually done, pro and con, not just talked about, and the same for Kemp? I generally make decisions by laying out a list of the pros and cons - actions, not words - of both.
Somewhere buried in there might be the reason for the NRA endorsement, or, maybe, the state chair or executive committee are just friends with him.
