I have a Convoy S2+ on one of my shotguns and a BLF A6 on the other. You're right on these new LED lights, particularly the ones with a CREE LED and a good, solid driver with multiple options. The Convoy puts out 500 lumens and the BLF puts out 1200+ (maybe as high as 1600 depending on the battery). Both use 18650 batteries. Just installed a Convoy S2+ on my Sub 2K as well.

As a side note, I carry a Convoy S2+ on-duty because it has a very powerful strobe feature. Great for lighting someone up and making them see spots for a few seconds.

Better yet, don't run out the front door if you don't actually need to.
Or at least check to see, if possible, what's out there before you do.
Just a thought.

How much "LESS" recoil is the low recoil? I'm thinking fo going with a 20 ga vs a 20 due to the recoil.

To me 9 pellet 00 buckshot low recoil (a.k.a. tactical) shells feels similar to 1 oz or 1 1/8 oz low brass dove load.
I can shoot couple dozen of them in my 870 without any discomfort.
Most important is to make sure your stock fits you correctly and has a good recoil pad.

Like rug said, I can shoot 2-3 times as many low recoil 00B than standard loads. I'm not recoil sensitive, but I'd rather not have my teeth rattled every time I click off a round.
