I'm NOT a huge fan of the .40 but you can get Glocks and Sigs for under $400 some way under!
Just won this last night;

I will probably get a 9mm bbl and mags for it down the road and with all told still be cheaper than buying a new Sig P226 in 9mm.
I love getting a really good deal! And that was a great deal for you. I haven't had a chance to shoot my P226 Equinox yet since all the craziness but I'm looking forward to it.

I agree with the 9mm conversion barrel. Only reason I have a couple of 40 S&W pistols with extra 357sig barrels is because they came with it.

Here it is.
Decent shape. a little finish loss on edges, controls and front strap but overall mechanically just broken in!

Very nice! A little wear isn't an issue, gives it character. And you don't mind using it for the intended purpose. It was built for hard use.

I had a G26 gen 2.5 years ago that was 20+ years old. Was my off-duty at one time. Had all kinds of holster wear on it but functionally it was gold. Should have kept it (which I could say about a lot of guns).

If they make them -after market- Geta short reset trigger...around $35. You can drop it in yourself...wow, what a difference! Safe shooting & enjoy!

Haven't been able to get to the range yet.
Hopefully they'll open soon.
I believe Shoot Straight has opened their ranges again so maybe I'll see about getting out this weekend .

May have to look into that as well then if my local range hasn't opened back up. I have three pistols that I've picked up that I haven't been able to test out yet.

SIG from Germany when Sig made good guns such a shame.
Everybody's got a plan until they get hit.

This one is American....

Frankly I don't get why so many think the older German folded slide guns are better than the newer solid forged and machined SS slide guns???
Anyone who understands metallurgy knows better!
Being made from SS also means more corrosion resistant. The older ones where know to rust fairly easily.
I don't care where its made, I just want it made WELL!
