Id build it myself. After 25 years of FAL builds I can honestly say...they just aint that complicated. Mark Grahm at Arizona Response Systems wrote the book on building the FAL, literally...he wrote the book. Gunplumber's Guide to FAL L1A1 home gunsmithing (or something like that) which he used to make available as a free download. FAL specific tools make it easier but since kits first showed up on the market 25+ years ago home gunsmiths have figured out all kinds of ways to get them put together on the cheap.
