Re: Any other 1911 addicts here?
1911/1911A1 pistols are one of those designs that people either love or hate them with little middle ground...sorta like Glocks. I know few people with safe full of 1911/1911A1 pistols and little of anything else...but then there are many people with not one in their safe. I just happen to like them...

Re: Any other 1911 addicts here?
I've been shooting 1911/1911A1/Government model pistols since 1978. First one was my father's 1960's Colt Government model in 45ACP on which I learned to shoot pistols. I purchased my first 1911 from Springfield Armory around 1987 when I purchased their 1911 "kit" plus a frame that I put t...

Re: lets talk about the SIG P220 elite stainless.
I had an early stainless P220 (non elite) one for a while but sold it after just few months as it was too heavy. I've had a German made P-220 since 1991 and it was my carry pistol for few years. It was easy to carry in a IWB holster but the stainless version was much heavier. I believe regular P220...

Re: Trail Camera Recommendation
I 've been using 3 of these Tasco 8MP cameras for 2-3 months and they work great. Great pictures day or night with decent IR and sensor range. I just ordered 3 more this week and will probably order couple more. They are under $30 but works better than most of my $100+ game cameras. https://www.walm...

Re: How far have you gone for FTF purchase?
I had a guy drive down from Jacksonville to Pompano Beach to buy my Sig 220 couple years ago.
I'm not sure if he really drove down just to buy it but he called me 5 hours before the meet to say he's leaving and then during the meet he showed me his FL DL with Jacksonville address.

How far have you gone for FTF purchase?
How far have you travelled to conduct a FTF purchase? I have travelled from Ft. Lauderdale to Orlando and Tampa area for FTF purchase/trade/sale but it was combined with other activities like weekend visit to Disney or to visit SIL in Tampa. A friend went from Miami to Ocala to buy a revolver last y...
