Re: lets talk about the SIG P220 elite stainless.

I had an early stainless P220 (non elite) one for a while but sold it after just few months as it was too heavy. I've had a German made P-220 since 1991 and it was my carry pistol for few years. It was easy to carry in a IWB holster but the stainless version was much heavier. I believe regular P220 ...

Re: Conceal Carry In Florida Summer

For over 10 years I carried a 1911 Government model pistol + a spare mag every day in a Milt Sparks Summer Special holster. I wore mostly Levi's jeans or cargo shorts and over-sized tee shirt. Nobody ever noticed the pistol. Now days I usually carry a "J" frame 38 Special or Glock 26 in my...

Re: Colt is on the move

That Colt Cobra looks like something made by Taurus.
It doesn't have the smooth curvy lines original Cobra and other Colt revolvers of past had.

Re: M-1 Carbine Price From 1965

Even in the 1980's Woolworth on 163 street in North Miami Beach sold surplus rifles for low price. The sporting goods department manager was a very knowledgeable man name Bill Hill. They were selling Swedish M96 Mauser from $69 to about $100 Chilean and K98 Mauser was less...started around $59 M1 Ga...

Re: Happy New Year! Trip down memory lane Pre-Y2K Gun Culture

For me and my dad 1990's were the golden period as we like revolvers more than pistols. 1990's was when the wonder 9 pistol was the weapon of choice and anyone who carried revolver was out of touch with reality. People were selling their revolvers at give away prices to buy hi-cap 9mm pistol from Eu...

Why is he suing the only people that tried to help Cruz kid?
I guess it's the American way...sue everybody just because you can.

Re: Christmas present possibility,,,,,,

Yeah, I saw that too. I just wish it was the shorter 4 5/8" barrel version.
The 6" version is a little too front heavy for small shooters.

Re: Florida Doe for the Freezer....Yum

Nice! I got one last Monday at my farm. One shot from 50 yards in the morning with my AR. One shot to the brain with Speer 64gr Gold Dot and she dropped like a rock. Entered under the right eye and exited under the left ear. Entrance and exit wounds were not impressive but everything in between was ...
