Re: New Ruger LCP Max
How well does the LCPMax draw from a jeans pocket? I have an LCPII which works well, however I can see a max is a bit longer on the grip, as it has to be. I’m wondering if that additional length might catch on the back edge of the pocket. I’m condensing calibers and would buy either a max or another...

Ya' mean it's better than the guy who wants you to send it his ffl friend in Colorado? The one whose ffl doesn't check out with the ATF site, only "because the address change is in process." That one?

Re: How Little Do Reporters Know About Firearms/Laws?
That's my experience. Look at how the Vietnam war was twisted. That's why I look at history of any kind with a couple pounds of salt. Nothing new: "The American press is a shame and a reproach to a civilized people. When a man is too lazy to work and too cowardly to steal, he becomes an editor ...

Re: Intellectual Yet Idiot
Well, there was a farmer in his field, trying to get a mule to pull a wagon of hay. The mule just stood there, proving the metaphor. So, the farmer beat the mule about the head and shoulders, to no avail. A fellow, standing by the side of the road and leaning in the fence called out, "Don't bea...

To answer your question. Yes. Silence opposing viewpoints. Grab someone, or a small group, make an example of them, and all the rest fall into line. Nothing new. Something most people should have learned by the third grade; fifth grade if one led a sheltered life among nice people.

And, you'll need an annual shot, too, according to Pfizer. It's called cash flow management.
I could see all the fuss for, say, a 30% death rate. Not for this one. I agree, the question is why the pressure?

Re: The vaccine is from God, Governor of NY wants you to be her apostles
Some say, "patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel." (I think that was Mark Twain) The subversive in 1600 Pennsylvania used this one. Remember the "Take the shot. It's patriotic." Now, to top that, "Religion is the last refuge of the scoundrel." The reactions to ...

Re: Biden says troops should be dishonorably discharged
Sounds like he'd just like to point at people who displease him and order, "Off with their heads."
IIRC, in my day (halfway back to the stone age) a court martial proceeding was required for a dishonorable.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/white-house-opposes-ndaa-banning-dishonorable-discharge-covid-19-vaccine-refusal So it is not enough to drive qualified, patriotic Americans from our armed forces with this issue--they have to pile on with punitive measures on top of that. And I say this as a double...
