Re: true Colt AR15A2 Dissipator AR6536
Interesting set-up. I wonder why CHP needed rifle length handguards. Maybe they needed something to fit their shotgun mounts?

Re: Brass knuckles
Yeah, I wasn't planning on concealed carry, just keeping them on the desk as a paperweight and a conversation piece. I was just worried that buying them online from an out of state seller would get me in trouble. You know, like all of the select fire control groups you can buy on gunbroker. :? Decid...

Re: Nikki Fried to sue Biden Adm.
Personally, I think she is trying to sabatoge her promise that she wouldn't cross reference the two databases if the result being a court order to strip marajuana users of the CWP. Probably off base since I didn't read the lawsuit or anything, but I don't trust anything she says and I doubt she woul...

Re: JTS M12AK in action, w/ slo mo
A couple of Youtubers trashed the shotty, but, i've found it to be a really good value. Probably close to 1K rounds of mostly buckshot and it runs like a charm. Got a remington choke conversion tube so I could mount a Saiga compatible V8 style brake on it and it feels so nice on fast follow-up shots.

Re: Out of curiosity . . .
. . . .As for selecting "Nessun Dorma," I think they did that because it would be one of the very few arias that the modern day "AGT voting audience" would recognize, given the popularity of Pavaroti's cover. and hitting that one "Vincera" high note probably sealed it ...

Re: Retirement communities
Do you play golf? Some of these communities have decent courses. Covid has changed how amenities are utilized and social distancing has forced many to cancel social programs like talent shows or dance and aerobics classes. We have friends that bought a winter condo at Kings Point in Delray and it’s ...

Re: HELP: AR15 in 300AAC under cycles with subsonic ammo
I hope it works, but I would be surprised. The amount of tension difference would be nominal IMHO and as you said, the trigger pin is kept from walking with the hammer spring. That said, maybe there is the chance that your trigger install upset a marginally functional gassing balance. But if you are...

Re: Attn: Fudds
If memory serves me correctly when bump stocks were being debated to go on the chopping block there were many on here that said, "who cares" or "they're no good" or "who would want one of those" or "their a waste of ammo". Well guess what sucking pole on that...

Re: What happens if you have an oops moment at the TSA checkpoint?
It’s not so much using a bag double duty for the range and travel, but if I’m not flying and traveling in state, I’ll typically have a firearm, knife and light in my duffel bag. I’ve been in back to back travel situations where I could see if I were distracted and rushing, I could have brought it in...
