Re: Congress Are You Listening?
Real figures are even higher. While they are only counting background checks, should a customer purchase 4 guns, there’s only one background check done. And of course, private sales don’t count too. GARY.

Re: Do most Broward ranges allow non-brass cased handgun ammo?
I understand. But sometimes life is a compromise. On one hand you have ranges that will not allow steel case ammo, or any ammo you didn’t buy from them that day. On the other hand you have range Nazi’s that will allow that ammo. Please post here the range that allows him to shoot his ammo so we can ...

Re: Do most Broward ranges allow non-brass cased handgun ammo?
I only work shows now, but when I worked at the stores, all ammo was inspected before being allowed on the range. So I would tell your friend to be prepared to buy ammo that is “range friendly”. Try calling the local ranges, & asking them what their current policy is. GARY.

Re: Do most Broward ranges allow non-brass cased handgun ammo?
I have worked at several gun store/ranges where steel cased ammo is not allowed. It has nothing to do with safety, but has to do with the empty cases that are swept up off the floor. The stores sell the empty cases to recyclers who do not want steel in their brass. In many cases the brass is melted,...

Re: Gun Shows
Many people with CWP’s didn’t want to wait. We told them to come to the shop Tuesday to pick up their purchase. Ira’s closed Monday. Most were OK with that. An hour later the backlog cleared out, & we called them to come back to pick up their new toy. GARY

Re: Gun Shows
This past weekend’s gun show was the busiest I ever worked, for anybody. Not much inventory to bring back to the shop. It was like being a bartender on South Beach this past weekend. But next weekend, IRA, & I do it again. GARY.

Re: New pistols coming out.
I handled a new Shield today at the show. The new double stack version was barely a CH wider than the original single stack version. They’ll probably sell a kabillion of them. GARY.

Re: Gun Shows
I’ll be working at that show today with IRA. It’s a pretty good show, & has been quite busy since the rush. It’s smaller than WPB, but with a show this weekend at Miramar, Orlando, & WPB, I don’t know what FFL’s will be at WPB. GARY. How's Ira doing? Been a while since I've worked his table...
