Re: MAK90 Mod
My barrel looks kind of strange. The entire barrel has very fine threading front to back. No thread protector, offset device, no nothing except front site. For a MAK 90, I'd say that's not threading, just machining marks. Those didn't come with the smoothest machining where you ended up with a nice...

Re: 5th Amendment
Even if they did, it’d go like this. “Your HK91 sold for $400 when it was new 40 years ago. Taking depreciation into account, we’ll give you $150 for it”. That wouldn’t go over well. GARY.

Re: TOMORROW is the deadline to oppose ATF proposed rule change
“ATF has proposed a "rule change" to "clarify" what Congress meant by "engaged in the business" of selling firearms. If implemented and enforced as written, persons who sell a single gun (or even demonstrate a "willingness" to sell a gun) in a private transact...

Re: The are seeking gun permits like crazy in Israel now
BTW anybody else notice the increase in snowbird traffic this year? Northern PB County has become Broward. No more than pre Covid. Remember the US/Can border was closed for a few years to automobile traffic. Canadians could fly here, but they couldn’t drive here, so that’s why we saw so few Canadia...

Re: I see some dots on the radar
"Lieutenant, I see some dots on the radar. Looks like a flight of planes." "Ah, just some seagulls, or a flight of B-17s coming into Hickham." And, they kept coming. "Hey, there's a big red disc on the wing." "No way." And the bombs fell. Arizona, Oklahoma, a...

Re: Camping Open Carry?
I know that open carry is legal while camping (& fishing) in Florida but why, how did that come to be? Thanks! t_bare I imagine the law was written for people in the woods who might be fishing, or camping, & may run across a bear. Of course you get the “constitutionalists” who feel the need...

I only eat ribeye, or NY strip. I buy it at the store, & choose what I feel is the best looking meat. I don’t need the other things these mail order butchers offer. GARY

The milled ones all had thread protectors. Many, but not all stamped Chinese guns were not threaded. GARY.

Re: MAK90 Mod
OTOH, if you see photo’s of Chinese soldiers carrying their AK’s, there were no muzzle devices as the barrels were not threaded. They threaded the barrels on guns they exported to the US because they figured we wanted them. So on the 3 Chinese MAK’s I have where the previous owners got rid of the th...
