That was disappointing

I just contacted my Florida State Senator's office (Tom Wright, Dist 14) and found out the special session DeSantis called is to consider exactly one issue; the redistricting of the state because of the extra seat in the US House of Representative, Florida picked up as result of the last census. Con...

Re: Ghost Guns?

I still have in my possession every firearm I've ever built!
I don't build them to sell them, I build them as a hobby.
And it is totally legal under both Federal Law and Florida State Law.

Re: Ghost Guns?

What irks me about all this "Ghost Gun" thing is; Under current Federal Law, it is totally permissible for anyone to build a firearm for his/her own use, as long as they avoid NFA firearms. I build my first firearm in eighth grade machine shop, back in the 1960's. It is a target grade sing...

Re: Florida Republican's Office chucks Constitutional Carry Petitions into Garbage

The latest lobby group that in effect killed it for this year was the Tourist Board. They are against the open carry, because they fear it will disturb tourists here in Florida. They lobbied hard this year, with people going to every State House and Senate member, promising cash for their reelection...

Try "The Gun Site" on Merritt Island.

Re: Legislature tries again to limit the will of the people

The only real change needed, is to up the required votes to like 2/3's or better yet 3/4's. It takes 3/4's of the States to amend the US Constitution, the same should go for amending the State Constitution. I believe the number is currently 60%, and that is better than the original 50% plus 1. But i...

Re: Road Rage Incident

Hard to believe someone would be so stupid to post a video, showing them self committing a felony crime.
He sure made it easy for the DA to press charges on that one.
And shooting out your own windows really takes the cake.

Re: Right around this time

My mother was seven months out of High School, working as a new switchboard operator at the Pentagon on December 7th, 1941. She took one of the first, if not the first call into the Pentagon, informing the big brass about the attack, it was about 12:30 pm local time, lunch time, when the call came i...

Re: Alec Baldwin: I didn't pull the trigger, I swear!!!

He said he cocked the pistol as directed by the woman he shot and killed. He claims he did not pull the trigger but dropped the hammer. It is not impossible he did not pull the trigger but when he dropped the hammer the gun fired meaning he fired the pistol either way He claims he did not pull the ...

Re: ATF moving toward federal gun registry

A Federal Gun Registry is against the law.
But when did any law stop Democrats?
