Re: Answering the Riddle of Steel
I see the practicality of stainless steel handguns and I even have several SS handguns but I like the look of blued steel a lot more. I know they scratch easily and show usage a lot easier but I don't mind the worn look of blued handguns.

Re: West German Sig P6 hammer and mags
Is there difference between Sig P-225 mags and P6 mags?
I assume difference would be just marking?

Re: 870 Rifle Sight - Front Ramp?
I’ve never seen 870 rifle sight alone. If ghost sight is acceptable Sage International makes 870 front and rear ghost sight.

Re: S&W Revolver Lock Failure???
The lock does serve one purpose at my house. I normally carry a 442 in my pocket on most days and when I get home I lock the revolver and put it in the drawer until next day instead of going through the trouble of putting it in my safe. See, I never touch mine. I want that lock to be tight and stic...

S&W Revolver Lock Failure???
I see that a lot of people will only buy S&W revolvers without the lock. As a long time avid S&W revolver collector and shooter most of mine are without locks but I have few J frame revolvers with lock. I have a 442 and 60 with lock which I have shot many rounds in past 12+ years most of whi...

Re: Polishing Nickel
I used Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish from Walmart to clean up couple of Nickel revolvers.
I just use soft cotton cloth and do it by hand. It cleaned up my revolvers nicely.

Re: Anyone remember Gunsmoke Enterprises?
I purchased my second AR from Gunsmoke at Ft. Lauderdale show in 2001. I talked to the father (I don't remember his name) and purchased a factory Bushmaster carbine from him. First time I took it to the range I noted the hammer pin would constantly work it's way out after firing few rounds. I took i...

Re: Was there legal way to carry weapon before state license?
Reason for asking this question is that back in early 1970's my father had a "permit" to carry concealed in two counties in FL...county of residence and country where he had business and wondered if they were legit permits. I think the one for country of business was a card signed by the s...
