Re: Looking for VPN Recommendations
When I went looking for a VPN, I quickly discovered that your reason to use one is critical to deciding which one to use. Most are adequate if you just want to conceal your logons from other local users when using public WiFi nets. Your note about unlimited bandwidth implies you want it for streamin...

Re: Pet Peeves
Sorry, no pet peeves at all. I expect people to do stoopid things to get in my way and I rarely get disappointed. I've learned to enjoy not even noticing things that might piss off someone else :-) I recently got to the doctor's office only 5 minutes before my appointment. That's the closest I've be...

Re: Tropical Storm Dorian
At no point has the NOAA ever said there was more than a 50/50 chance of hurricane force winds hitting Florida. Now, the possibility of hurricane force winds hitting Florida are back down below 30%. If you look at the NOAA forecast advisory, you'll see that this is a very small storm. Those 145 mph ...

I been using this site since back in the early 1990's, when I had to access it from the IP address :-) But, learn to interpret and use the forecast advisory. The public advisory and graphics don't tell the whole s...

Re: Tropical Storm Dorian
It appears the NOAA forcasters think less of this storm each day. Now, they give it less than 10% probability of any hurricane force winds at all, during the next five days.
