Wulfmann, thank you for the compliment. Your assessment of the time involved, complexity of the procedure, downsides, potential problems and costs are spot on.
PM me if you have any other questions.

Re: Full implant teeth (not dentures). If you did it please share

Costwise, it would run about $ 25,000 to $30,000 per arch, when done by a reputable oral surgeon and restorative dentist. Half the fee would be surgical, half would be for the restorative treatment.

As a retired dentist, and having done a few of these cases, I can tell you that none of these cases are ever straightforward or without complications. What's important is the hospitalization usage. The tests are highly inaccurate.

Re: Red Dot Sights Question

The DDM4 pro is supremely accurate. Why not a a 1 x4 optic with a red dot reticle? Trijicon Accupoint, Accupower, etc? Best of both worlds. Red dot for close, 4x magnification at distance.

Re: Captiva or St Pete

My vote is for the Palm Island Resort in Englewood. You take a short ferry ride to the island, park your car and then get around by electric golf cart. Excellent snook fishing off the beach.

Re: Live Oak area

if you're buying on the Suwanee River make sure it's high and dry, above the historic 100 year flood line. I've seen the river a mile wide when it's in flood state. Don't plan on working in Live Oak. It's quite cheap to live there, but there are no jobs.
