Re: Extra magazines for semi autos

While nobody complains about having too much ammo, We might be getting carried away worrying about not having enough rounds for repelling a boarding party. Most home and self defense reports involve very few rounds fired. And in many instances, there's reportedly no rounds fired. Just the presentati...

Re: HD shotgun

Better yet, don't run out the front door if you don't actually need to.
Or at least check to see, if possible, what's out there before you do.
Just a thought.

Re: Any fellow Corvette owners?

My Dad was a big time Corvette guy, beginning with the very first one, the 1953. He had bought an sold so many there's no way to remember them all. He even had the split window 1963. Until Chevy dropped their excellent road racing light weight Gran Sport effort, that is. Like many Corvette enthusias...

Re: Interesting concept...

Did you know that the lowly and often maligned .22 rimfire can be a very useful way to practice long range shooting? Years ago, Matt Burkett had a podcast show. On one of them he discussed this very subject. He explained that most people, even serious long range competitors, don't practice enough wi...

Re: custom reloaded ammo sellers?

It's easy to understand the above explanation.
Even just reloading for my self, it's not worth the effort to do less than 1,000 to 2,000 rounds at a time on my Dillon Progressive.
Even at my current and much reduced shooting schedule, that only lasts a few months at most.

Re: Bersa BP9CC

Yeah, that's very light for a carry pistol.
Especially considering how a surprise adrenaline filled situation can affect things.
That 3.5 pull could feel almost non existent.

Re: I like revolvers

Times sure have changed. Now pistols are the most popular, by far. Revolvers are still hanging in there, but far, far behind. When I was younger, revolvers ruled. Today, like not knowing how to drive a stick shift car, there's whole generations of people who have a very limited knowledge of the oper...

Re: Morning Edition is celebrating the NRA...

Maybe the NRA's bottom line would improve if they didn't send us so many continual renewal requests.
All those mailings have to cost plenty.

Re: Civil Disobedience by Gun Owners in the 21st Century?

The founding fathers of these United States didn't have trepidations about speaking out.
Why should we?
