Re: New possible work-around for the Electoral College

The way I read it, the states would be acting inside the bounds of the Constitution.
A popular vote would, of course, always be in favor of the large cities in each state. I see nothing but adverse consequences of enacting this hare-brained idea into law.

What are landlords going to do?

There’s no such thing as a free lunch. I feel terrible for everyone that lost their job due to the government shutdown of the economy. That could be me any day. But nowhere in the Constitution does it authorize our government to jack up the national debt by sending checks out to Americans, much less...

Re: New possible work-around for the Electoral College

I saw this video several months ago, explaining how the “progressives” want to subvert the EC in the most underhanded way:

Re: What are landlords going to do?

The government’s interference in contractual agreements between landlords and tenants is blatantly un-Constitutional—and therefore unlawful. We are no better than any other communist/socialist/fascist nation that we ever fought against. Too bad we no longer have rule of law in the judiciary, or thes...

Re: What are landlords going to do?

I would file eviction notices anyway, as a CYA move. To the extent that the government can and DID take over your private property, an egregious violation of Constitutionally-protected rights, I would file suit or join a class-action suit seeking damages and reparations from the government. It’s tim...

Florida Lock Down COV-19

Marxism must be in the air... I remember a guy who demanded unquestioned compliance with government mandates for the public good, stifling individual liberty and free choice in favor of a collectivist ideology. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200903/d8925c4741655102c49db87979d77dd9.jpg We are abo...

The Federal Courts of Appeal are now split on mag cap limits

Couldn’t agree more. Dodging Constitutional cases is irresponsible and dare I say, un-Constitutional?
They only have ONE JOB...

Boogalosian 5.56 :

I had a cousin in the Army SF...one of his teammates at his funeral said they “go over there” so they don’t have to fight them “over here”.
Seems legit. The kid might escape murder charges but my guess is he’ll get hammered for bringing his firearms across state lines. Who knows?
