Melbourne show this weekend, Nov 17 & 18
Another quiet show. Was down there this morning. Many of the regular vendors were missing, so there must be other shows in the area this weekend. Attendance was lighter than normal. Ammo prices continue to drop, example 500 round bricks of 22LR for less than $20. There were also some good deals on h...

Now they are saying he used a Glock 21 .45-caliber handgun with an illegal extended magazine.
The guy was a Middle Eastern sandbox veteran, who they are saying suffered from PTSD.

Re: 13 dead in mass shooting at Thousand Oaks bar
The local police are reporting he used a California compliant 45 ACP handgun, and was also using compliant 10 round magazines.
At least he followed California Gun Laws to the "T", that was so nice of him.
They also said that about thirty shots were fired, so three clips worth.

Bill Nelson, not going to miss him at all.
Really what has he done in the last 10 years, other than to give us Charlie Bolton as NASA Administrator?
He was ballast on the Space Shuttle, and he turned into ballast in the Senate.
He was nothing more than a poster child for term limits.

Re: Fall back tonight...
Yes, Florida passed a state law placing Florida on constant DST. But, Congress has to approve the change, and so far the proposal has not even been heard in committee in either house. The airlines and train companies are against it, and lobbying against the change. The Florida based theme parks are ...

Re: Another Stand Your Ground Shooting Rejected
Yes, that was a bad shooting.
The first time I saw the video on the TV news, I knew the would be charged.
I doubt the prosecution will let him cut a plea deal on this one, and the jury will not buy a self defense claim.
His life is now screwed, for a very bad split second decision.

This weekends Melbourne show
Went by this morning with my son. Lots of really good gun deals and ammo deals around; examples - AR-15 pistols for $450, 9mm ammo for 17 cents a round. Got a good deal on a 8 pound jug of H4895, for less than $13 per pound. There were $28 per 1000 Winchester primers available. Next Melbourne show i...

Small block Chevy V-8's
I've been totally out of working on cars for 10 years now (age, not lack of interest). I was really into Chevelle's from the early 1970's through the mid 2000's, owned seven of them back in 1994 of which I restored five of them. Bought my first, a 1970 SS 454 LS6, in 1972. I have a complete, and I m...
