Re: Alec Baldwin: I didn't pull the trigger, I swear!!!

I'm pretty sure the Pietta 1873 has a transfer bar or the equivalent. If Alec is so well trained he would know that after pulling the trigger to lower the hammer he would remove his finger from the trigger guard so the gun won't go off if the hammer "accidentally" slipped from his thumb. G...

Re: I don't get it...do these appeal to any of you?

What function do any of them serve except to say: "Look at me! I am embarrassingly rich and I'll prove that by giving everyone I know a small token of my appreciation for their special love." Meh, can't hunt with one and probably too fragile for a proper range day. Joe

They "got the memo" and charge what they are told; or they disappear. Joe

Re: What are local gun shows like now?

Speaking of people who are MIA at the Orlando show, I don't remember seeing the cowboy gun guy the one with 2 or 3 tables of Uberti's and Taylor's. ...And the "dozen table milsurp guy" and..... Fact is all the "old timers" are gone. Like I said, drive up to the Shoot Straight st...

Re: What are local gun shows like now?

.....I did not make that show, were there a few dealers at least that with some older guns??? Not that I saw. Ever since the guy (can't remember his name) with the S&W's in the center of the big room left maybe 5 years ago, there's been one here and there. Nothing "cool", the "Be...

Re: What are local gun shows like now?

Saturday's O-Show had whole aisles to disregard due to lack of guns. Lotsa ammo if'n you were willing to pay. Prices were almost identical at the 01 FFL's that were about half # of the last show. Spent a great morning with 2 old buds, didn't spend a dime. Joe
