Traveling to Alaska

Will be flying into Alaska for a week in June. Looking at the Alaska.gov site and it does state they do have a Reciprocity Agreement with FL for each state's CCW permit holders. Has anyone traveled to Alaska recently with their firearm in their checked bag (following all TSA rules)? If so, any issue...

Re: Kydex, leather or other?

Switched to Kydex when Vedder holsters became active and offered their Lighttuck IWB.
The cherry on top is that they are right here in FL (Mt Dora) and fully support them.

Re: Gun safes - recommendations

Liberty Safe CENTURION. Appreciate all the feedback and yes, I did buy one way larger than what I presently need. Went with the Surelock Security Co Inspector 24 gun safe via Lowes (appears to be similar to the Liberty) https://www.lowes.com/pd/Surelock-Security-Co-Inspector-24-Safe/1003017280 Orde...

George W wrote: Thu Dec 30, 2021 11:36 pm Liberty makes great stuff at decent prices. My comment is about size. Find a safe that will hold everything you have plus everything you can imagine owning.... then find a model twice its size. They tend to shrink when you get them home. Buy once, cry once.
Thanks - excellent advice

Re: Gun safes - recommendations

Thanks, Jeeps - I did come across Liberty in my initial search.
That said, my main priority is keeping them safe from access from the kids/grand kids/guests.

Thanks but not looking for safe sellers, looking for safe makes/models that fellow members may have recommendations on based on their experience.

Gun safes - recommendations

Just started looking into these an I know the prices can go through the roof depending on how high end you go. As I do not have a huge arsenal, I only plan to have about 4 long guns, and maybe up to 10 hand guns. Would like a shelf and a drawer or two for jewelry and important docs. Ideally, would l...

Re: Let's see your HK's

B&T brace added which is very well built, which is good because they are not cheap but highly recommend. How is this a brace? How does the end fit around your arm? Great looking if it is a brace though. GARY. Gary - You're right, I will be ordering this Tailhook adapter so I can add my Tailhook...

Re: Let's see your HK's

Very nice collection, Lakelandman. Just this past week, I have ordered a broom handle grip and B&T telescoping brace for my SP5K. Just when i thought I was done with my spending for now. ;) ** Forgot to add another mag (KCI) ordered. I have learned that adding a broom handle grip to my SP5k wou...
