Re: I Dont Understand Covid-19 "Reported Cases"

What I don't understand is so many people saying 99.9% of Covid19 cases recover. Look at just about any of the statistics sites for US locations, and divide the number of deaths by number of confirmed cases - they all show about 2% fatalities. Even with fudging on which are true Covid19 cases, the ...

Re: I Dont Understand Covid-19 "Reported Cases"

Between the 4 of them they were tested 16 times with positive tests. Every one was added to the totals. It depends on which numbers you are using. There is a whole spreadsheet full of data daily with the total test count, total positive count, and the new infections count that controls for repetiti...

Re: How is this NOT racists?

I think I explained the OPs question... Can we lock this thread instead of making it a referendum on how much Mike can take before he quits? Seriously, my words were chosen for a reason, because I thought we were only white men left. Ends up I painted slightly too broadly, while we have lost most- w...

Re: How is this NOT racists?

It's exclusionary, but I wouldn't go as far as racist... But I think the mention of race has distracted from the big picture here... Who do we have here on this board? We had a single black member 12 years ago, we had half a dozen Hispanic members, we had a dozen women. I think they're all long gone...

Re: Rick Scott Introduces Bill to Extend Daylight Saving Time

Didn't we already pass this as a state and it was never heard in the US Senate to be ratified? If I remember right, we're like 1 of 7 or 8 states that have passed a local bill to get rid of DST, but we're the only ones on the East Coast looking to keep the extra hour in the evenings when everyone e...

What kind of range is that?
It's a club- limited frills... couple berms over here, clay thrower over there, bathroom that way, and a microwave in case of emergencies. It's not like a place that is in buisness as a range...

Range Bag...

Right now I feel like I'm packing for a six week vacation when I go to the range... By the time I get the 75 bags into the car and drive down to the range I feel like I don't even have enough time to unpack. I have a range bag: Eyes Ears Spare eyes Spare ears Mag holders Holster Gear belt I have a t...

Re: Kydex Holster Sarasota

There used to be someone here who did Kydex, but I don't remember who or where... I need a new holster for something, I want to add a light to the rail but haven't found any for the gun with a light option... I dont even care which light, I'd buy the light to match the holster... perhaps I can glam ...

Re: Legality of home made hollowpoints?

(I'd be much more worried about heat from drilling if I were you.. you know... gunpowder and all) Do you really think that a steel bit drilling into lead will generate enough heat to cook off gunpowder? Powder? No, but don't primers pop at like 300*... Drilling Round 1 probably won't get too...

Re: Legality of home made hollowpoints?

FL has laws against some exotic ammo- but it's mostly weird stuff, not HPs. Also, you can't make your own ammo commercially, so no making stuff and selling it without licences and such... Not a lawyer, but I don't know of a reason why you legally couldn't drill a bit of a dent into a round. (I'd be ...
