Any particular brands of body armor we should look at and any that we should stay away from?
Also what level of protection do you recommend...level II or IIIA or...

He already has plenty of other guns but he still likes shooting his Rascal.

Any Savage Rascal 22lr Replacement Stock?

Are there any Savage Rascal 22lr replacement stocks that are larger than the kid size? My son has one he's been shooting since he was 5 y/o but now the stock is too short for him to use comfortably. I'd like to replace the stock with something longer that will fit him better. It doesn't seem like Sa...

Re: Never had a dog with cancer before :(

Sorry for your loss.
It's hard to loose a dog after having them for years...it's one of the main reason why I don't have a dog right now after my 2 passed couple years ago.

Re: Blackbuck and Boar in Argentina

Just mail it to you home while there.
It's usually cheap to mail stuff home when out of the country.

Re: Nissan pickups v. All others (gas)

I have a 2002 Expedition with 250k+ miles on it with all original drivetrain. Looks like shit outside and burns about a qt of oil every 7k miles but it's still reliable and I drive 250 miles to/from farm on weekends. I'm starting to look for a new full size crew cab 4X4 pickup and basically it's dow...

Re: Remington 742 mag suggestion

Triple K 10 round mags don't work very well and I'm not sure if anybody else made 10 round mags for them. From what I've seen on friend's 742 rifle, even when they work well they don't like to be fired rapidly as reliability suffers when they heat up. Didn't Remington recall these rifles about 25 ye...

Re: A simpler and more elegant era of police duty guns. Colt vs S&W

SW definitely has better trigger than Colt, IMO. Just MHO but in single action both Colt and S&W usually have sweet trigger and just depends on the individual revolver. When shooting double action I won't say one is better than other as they are different. S&W mostly has consistent DA trigg...

Re: A simpler and more elegant era of police duty guns. Colt vs S&W

When I think of police duty guns from my youth the only thing that comes to mind is S&W model 10 in 38 special caliber with 4" pencil or heavy barrel. I saw very few 6" barrel versions in the city...maybe 1 out 10 but there seemed more common in rural areas LEOs. I was told that longer...
